My name is Sharon Venning and I am Geography Co-ordinator at Warberry Primary School.
Geography explores the relationship between the Earth and its people through the study of place, space and environment. The teaching of geography enables children to develop an interest in their surroundings. It encourages an enquiring mind and helps them to develop informed concern for the quality of the environment and their future within it.
At Warberry Primary School we cover many topics and themes from India to Dartmoor to Life on Earth to Houses and Homes.
We make it a priority to provide as many outdoor experiences for the children as possible, so they can investigate and learn first hand about their own environment and surroundings.
