ICT is an exciting and fast moving subject area, which the children thoroughly enjoy.
From a very early age children learn about ICT through using battery operated toys and remote control vehicles. Children use simple programs on the computers.
During KS1, children visit the computer suite regularly where they use the computers for painting, writing and making books and data handling. Children are also introduced to simple programming of floor toys. As the children progress through the school their skills are refined and they are encouraged to choose when and where to use different programs and skills. Children access the internet to help with research in a supervised environment.
